How to Reach Rajaji National Park

By Air: The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. By Train: Haridwar and Dehradun are the closest railway stations. By Road: The park is well-connected by road to major cities like Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Dehradun.

Entry Permits and Safari Booking

Entry Fees: Rs. 150 for Indians, Rs. 600 for foreigners. Gypsy Hire: Rs. 3500 per vehicle. Guide Fees: Rs. 1000 for  an experienced wildlife guide.

Best Time to Visit

The park is open from November 15th to June 15th. The best time to visit is during the cooler months (November to February) for comfortable weather and active wildlife.

Safari Experience and Wildlife

A typical safari lasts 2-3 hours, with morning and evening slots available. The Chilla and Motichur zones are particularly famous for dense forests and frequent wildlife sightings.
